The gravimetric method is recognized as the classic reference principle for moisture testing. Yuntang YT-LS halogen moisture analyzer is designed based on loss-on-drying gravimetric principle. The instrument weighs the initial mass of the sample first, then the halogen heating lamp irradiates and heats the sample, accelerating the evaporation of free water and surface bound water inside the sample. The high-precision weighing sensor continuously monitors the real-time weight reduction of the sample. When the weight change per unit time is less than the preset value, the system judges that moisture evaporation is completed, stops heating automatically and computes the moisture content.

Compared with traditional drying oven method, infrared moisture meter and Karl Fischer titration equipment, Yuntang halogen moisture tester has prominent advantages. The data can be exported to U disk in CSV format for further analysis in Excel.
